8-division world champion and Senator Manny Pacquiao will appear at Blockchain Fair Asia 2018 to talk about his PAC Coin on October 11-12 in SMX Convention Center Aura, Taguig City.
Senator Pacquiao first announced his own token earlier this year, followed by former England striker Michael Owen and another boxing champion Floyd Mayweather. This token would allow fans to buy the boxing superstar’s merchandise and interact with him via live-streaming. It would provide fans an opportunity to get to know their favorite boxing celebrity, as well as access to exclusive content and merchandise.
Pacquiao signed with Singapore-based Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX) as its first celebrity in March 2018, making him the first celebrity to release his exclusive Celebrity Token, also known as PAC Coin, on GCOX.
GCOX is the world’s first platform where celebrities can tokenize their popularity through creating, trading and listing their own celebrity tokens and in which Pacquiao was also known to be an investor.
“We are proud to have Manny Pacquiao as the first international celebrity on our exchange. Manny and other celebrities will also have the opportunity for increased engagement with their fans, further extending their reach and expanding their popularity,” said GCOX CEO Jeffrey Lin.
More than 30 thought leaders from the crypto space all over the world will come together in this event to discuss the potential of blockchain technology to usher in a new digital era, and more than 1,000+ participants are expected to participate.
